Holiday Greetings from Our Family to Yours!

Here's the Happy Holiday's Cali Update!!

• All is well in San Diego. It's finally Winter here with some rain & cold mornings. Kinda nice really!
• Riley has learned a few things...Like- repeating things we say or do (not always good when you have sailors mouth like mine), loves the word "NO!" (that's fun..not), developed an obsession with 'BALL!', how to escape into the backyard to run in the grass and chase the dog, how to climb on Lois' new scooter, how to climb the slide at the park and thus landing face down when he loses his grip! OW. He now uses his forehead like radar- banging off everything he can find-it's like a pinball machine...I swear we are gonna get an ulcer watching him. He especially loves to head butt every section of the new coffee table from West Elm which is hard as rock. THANK GOD we have health insurance... His daycare loves him and calls him a 'bonus child' because he's so laid back and fun.
• Lo loves her job & the people she works with. I'm enjoying mine, but still getting to know the people...and the routine.
• Rediscovering San Diego, places to eat & learning all the good 'kid' places around town.
• Poor Cosmo is still looking for the rest of the backyard...We have about 1/20th the grass of what was in Atlanta.
• Cosmo is ready to take on the coyotes that occasionally roam the street (scared Lois to death!). Coyotes do this wierd yoddle at night as they travel in packs in the local canyon- which COMPLETELY FREAKS Lois and Cosmo...
• Tragically I have had to surf with friends every weekend, often at a private break...it's hard but someone has to do it.

Poor guy- he was sick this day. We found him covered in..uh..well he threw up & didn't even cry. Needless to say, I stayed home with him & we read books all day.
