A blog dedicated to our family vacation....

We took a last minute get away to visit our Atalnta family & stay in Charleston at the beach. Our buddy Lynn has a beach house in Foley Beach, SC (the beach of Charleston)- so we crashed at her pad, eat all her food & camped out on her beach a few days. Flew into Atlanta then drove to Charleston (4.5hours), then drove back after 3 days to fly back out... Quick but fun!

Ri did great on the flights- THANK YOU DVD player! We were singing the Diego theme song all over the house....

Got great weather except the last day in ATL was 44 degrees! Brrrrrr....

You have to love Charleston architecture... Utterly charming... I lived in North Charleston for a year when I was 21 & I am still totally captured by the timelessness of the place...

THIS is our house in Atlanta... Lo made me take 3 pics of it. We loved it & the 1400 Sq feet of room! The backyard is 8,000 sq feet alone... Trying buying all that in San Diego if your not a lotter winner.. (uh we haven't won yet either)














These are the Scheafers- our Atlanta family. They hosted us for holidays & have always been so wonderful to us. The COOLEST family.
















JP & Tyler with Riley... They are the kindest family who were our neighbors at the ATL house. Wicked sense of humor & great stories... We wish they still lived across the street.
